Epp.msi is part of the Microsoft Security Client Package. Howe long have you been using MSE? If a recent install, was your computer infected? Did you remove all previously installed antimalware programs including running the appropriate software removal tools?

Is it possible to disable MSE so that it does not impact loading of software applications on my computer? I tried to uninstall MSE temporarity and Add & Remove Programs function cannot find the epp.msi file to facilitate the uninstallation.
