I hit the top button on the right hand column labeled HRC Frequencies. It created a new QAM.ini in the local/temp directory. I then manually copied it to ..\gbpvr\bda\atsc. This change fixed the digital/QAM signals just fine.

I have been doing some research into QAM (256 QAM/Clear QAM) tuners. It seems that it is possible to recieve HD local channels, and any digital channels for that matter that are unscrambled, by simply using a 256 QAM tuner without the need for a "Digital Cable" subscription or box (or cable-card).

By specifying a file mapped with QAM HRC frequencies instead of the default QAM STD ones, the M780 found gobs and gobs of channels. Nearly all of them were "Unknown", but it did pull in the names of some of my HD locals.
